/pilot composting facility/ Vietnam 2013
Bac Giang pilot composting facility has been designed to produce organic fertilizer using agricultural waste and the organic fraction of Municipal Solid Waste. The hangar of the composting pad has been constructed using bamboo as local material.
The composting facility get raw material from the Organic Fraction of MSW and from agricultural and agro industial residues in the municipality of Van Ha lacated in Bac Giang district.
The roof has been designed by studioazue and implemented by a local company. As cover palm leaves has been used. The roof covers the composting process and is 16 mt long without any colum in the middle to allow the wheel loader free movment while is turning the piles.
After the composting process a refining system and a pellet machine complete the process.
